Developing a Global Perspective

What better way to broaden your global perspective — one of Alverno’s 8 Abilities — than to pair learning and travel? A number of Alverno courses do just that, capping off a semester’s worth of classroom learning with a summer trip abroad.

Future health care professionals gain cultural fluency through Cultural Perspectives in Health Care: Japan, which offers Alverno students a chance to connect with health care professors, students and professionals in Japan through a partnership with Tokyo Women’s Medical University.
